There are many yoga practices on Youtube.com that you can look up so that your
body can feel more limber and ready for bed.

Yoga relaxes not only your body but most importantly your mind, just putting your forehead to the floor like in the
photo above can do wonders to your senses.

The pose in the photo above is called “Child’s Pose”; you can rest your belly on your thighs, and stretch your
tailbone to your heels while massaging your forehead left to right and taking long deep breaths.

Just this pose can put you in a more relaxed mood.

“According to a national survey, over 55% of yogis found that it positively
affected their sleep. Because yoga coaxes you into your parasympathetic
response
, which sends your body the signal to relax, falling asleep is a natural by-
product of a restful yoga practice”- https://www.prevention.com/fitness/sleep-

“We live in such a fast-paced environment and
our senses are always being stimulated, and that affects our nervous system,”
says Vyda Bielkus, a yoga teacher and trainer and founder of Health Yoga Life.
“The yogic technique of focusing on your breath can be helpful — the exhalation
stimulates the nervous system to release … [and] the poses also help us relieve
tension from the physical body”

2 Best Yoga For Sleep

Yin Yoga

There a many types of yoga, but the two best for sleep, and feeling deeply relaxed
would be Yin Yoga which focuses on stretching and deep breathing.

You get into a stretching pose, and hold that position for about five minutes while breathing
deeply and slowly, and you go through a good bit of positions until you finish it off
with a “shavasana” which is just laying on your back and soaking up all that good
energy you just built up.

Kundalini Yoga

The other yoga practice would be Kundalini Yoga; this is
probably the best yoga you can do before bed if anything else.

It mainly focuses on the breath, and the sounds we can make by chanting the word “OHM” with all
the many sensory nerve endings on the tongue, chanting will massage those
nerves and its almost hypnotic how good you feel after one practice.

You have to do your research if you want to get results so go ahead and look into
some “Yin Yoga” or “Kundalini Yoga”, pick the one that’s right for you and your body.

Feeling better goes a long way, like taking you right to sleep which is the point.

Enjoy exploring new things and ways to make sleep and life in general a better
experience.
